Andrei Maica, a cinematographer from Moldova, describes himself as a perpetual camera addict. He studied Cinematography at the Russian State Film University (VGIK) in Moscow, his short film ”The First“ was a winner for cinematography at the Kustendorf Film festival. Andrei often travels abroad and what he experienced inspired his creation. For him, working behind the camera is not just a profession, it is his passion and a fundamental part of who he is.
