Pablo Casacuberta is a filmmaker, writer and visual artist from Montevideo, Uruguay.
After graduating with a Master of Arts in Experimental Media, Pablo started his career as a graphic designer, publishing illustrations, posters and book covers, and moving rapidly towards design for television, where his visual style received recognition and awards. He has received a Clio and was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Video category. He was also a finalist for the international Sundance NHK prize.
His visual art has also been exhibited in New York, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Yokohama, and Venice.
In 2010 he worked as a second unit director for the celebrated Nike “Write the Future” spot, which was directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu. The spot won the Grand Prix in Cannes. In 2011 he also directed a campaign for Coca Cola China in Taipei and Hong Kong. From 2011 to 2014, he continued to shoot campaigns for Coca Cola and Minute Maid in China.
Pablo has worked for well-known brands and clients such as Citibank, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Minute Maid, Nike, McDonalds, Cadbury, MTV, and the Warner Channel.
