Both Fabrice and Rachel Carazo began their careers as child actors before finding their calling behind the camera.
While Fabrice graduated from one of France’s most prestigious cinematography schools IDHEC, Rachel graduated from the HEC business school before beginning her career at the Rond Point Theatre.
Shortly after meeting, the pair wrote their first film for Vanessa Paradis and Gerad Depardieu, Elisa (1995), which became a box office hit. The two also began directing commercials together in London and Paris with production companies like Wanda, Gang Films, and Carla Productions. Together they have directed more than 150 TVC for well-known brands like Dior, Givenchy, Mercedes, and Nike. Rachel & Fabrice have also worked with celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Gisèle Bundchen, Vanessa Paradis, Gerard Depardieu, and Johnny Depp.
With each piece of work, the pair incorporate their cinematic style with sophisticated production techniques.
When Rachel & Fabrice are not directing commercial, they continue to write for movies.
